Creation of a product brand on a website based on OkayCMS 3 *

Working with the Brands tab

In the administrative panel of the site, go to the "Catalog" section, the "Brands" tab. You will see a list of brands of goods that exist on the site.

Creation of a new brand

To create a new brand, you need to click on the "Add Brand" button. In the first text field you need to enter the brand name, for example "New Brand".

When you enter the name, the brand address is automatically generated, while the "Block auto link generation" checkbox is not necessary.

The "Block auto generation" checkbox is used to prevent accidental changes to the page URL. By default, it is inactive, it is activated after saving the completed brand page.

Also metadata Title (Title), Keywords (Keywords) is formed. They can be edited manually if necessary.

If, according to the design of your site for brands of goods, there is a display of the brand logo, then you have the opportunity to upload an image. You need to click on the "+" button (and upload the required image.

The brand description is added in the "Full description" block. The brand description is displayed on the brand page. A brief description of the brand is displayed if it is required by your site design.

After filling in the brand, remember to save your changes.

In order to assign a brand to a product, you must go to the product. In the "Brand" block, select the required one from the drop-down list.
