Management of customer groups in OkayCMS 3 *

An increase in the number of sales, as well as an increase in the position of an online store in the search results, directly depends on the number of buyers who have used its services. Promotions, during which a buyer can purchase goods at a discount, is one of the most successful ways to attract potential buyers.

Providing regular customers, as well as registered groups of users, with discounts on goods will increase the rating of the online store in the eyes of customers. To implement such tasks in the functionality of the OkayCMS platform, it is possible to manage groups of buyers and create discount coupons.

To start working with groups of clients, you need to go to the section "Customers" in the directory of the administrative panel.

This block will display all registered users who have made purchases. It is possible to sort the list of users by group membership.

If necessary, download the file with the client base by clicking on the Excel table icon.

Buyers registration

Convenience and simplicity of the registration process is a guarantee of an increase in the number of regular customers, as well as the ability to effectively use such a successful marketing technique as email newsletters in the future.

Registration of a new user takes place in the client part of the site.

On the page that opens, the user will be asked to log in if there is an existing account in the online store, or to go through the registration procedure.

By default, for registration you will need to fill in three required fields - "Name", "Email" and password, as well as enter a captcha, which confirms that the user is not a "robot".

After entering all the data, you should click on the "Register" button. The personal account of the registered buyer will open, in which you can also change the password.

Possibility of dividing buyers into different groups

In the tab "Groups of buyers" of the section "Users" admin. the panel provides the ability to create user groups for which different purchase conditions will be provided.

To add a new group, you need to click on the "+ Add group" button.

You can assign a name and discount to the new group.

To delete a group, click on the trash can icon opposite the group name.

Possibility to set a discount percentage for a group of buyers

The main task of creating separate groups of buyers is to establish various discounts that will be provided for purchases. When creating a new group, you can set the discount percentage.

To do this, you need to fill in the "Discount" field with a numerical value.

Ability to create a coupon for a discount that can be entered at checkout

The functionality of creating discount coupons plays an important role in attracting new customers, as well as creating a positive image of an online store that meets its customers halfway.

The discount coupon is applied during checkout in the cart.

In the basket menu, the user can enter in a specially designed field the name (number) of the coupon that the online store provides to him. When entered, a discount will appear on the invoice for payment.

To add a new coupon, go to the "Coupons" tab in the "Users" section of the OkayCMS administrative panel and click the "+ Add Coupon" button.

For a new coupon, you can ask:

1. name;

2. discount percentage;

3. the period until which it is valid;

4. the minimum order value with which the coupon becomes effective;

5. disposable or not.

After filling in all the required fields, click on the "Save" button.

To delete a coupon, you need to click on the "basket" icon next to its name. If you need to delete several coupons, you should put a checkmark in front of them, and then select the "Delete" function in the pop-up menu at the bottom and click "Apply".

These marketing moves are designed to increase the number of sales, which is the main goal of online store owners.
