In the OkayCMS admin panel there is a section "Indexing Settings", which is located in the SEO block
This section is divided into two parts.
On the left side, you can make settings for the output <link rel = "canonical">
You can choose which page the link will point to in this tag for certain types of pages.
The <link rel = "canonical"> output settings can be set for:
- pagination pages in the catalog
- pages of all products in the category
- filtering results pages by brand
- filter results pages by property
- filtering result pages by additional parameters (such as promotional products or bestsellers)
- pagination pages filtering result
On the right side of the page, you can set the output settings for <meta name = "robots"> on specific types of pages
Output settings <meta name = "robots"> can be set for:
- pagination pages in the catalog
- pages of all products in the category
- filtering results pages by brand
- filter results pages by property
- filtering result pages by additional parameters (such as promotional products or bestsellers)
- pagination pages filtering result
Also below on this page you can set the indexing settings of the CNC filter
In this block, you can set the maximum depth of filtering pages to be indexed. You can also configure whether you want to index pages for filtering by brands, properties, additional filters, and more.
This functionality will allow you to very flexibly manage the indexing settings for filtering results pages and manage the crawling budget very well, and this will allow search robots to index sites on OkayCMS more efficiently.
