Tracking sales statistics in OkayCMS
In order to build a strategy for the development of an online store as efficiently as possible, it is imperative to have all the information about the number of sales. The owners of online stores created on the OkayCMS platform will be helped to cope with this task with detailed sales statistics, the functionality of which is built into the administrative panel.
Working with statistical data in the administrative panel
Section "Statistics" in the admin. the panel contains three subsections "Statistics", "Sales statistics" and "Sales categorization".
In the first tab, you will be able to track the growth in the number of sales, which is depicted as a coordinate plane, in which one axis defines the dates, and the second - the amount of proceeds from the sale of all goods.
In the "Sales statistics" tab there is a summary of all sales that were made during the selected period. The section displays data such as category, product name, sales amount and the number of units of trade items.
To display information about sales for a certain period, you can use a convenient filter. In addition, you can use a separate block with which you can get data on sales made for today, yesterday, current week, month, year, etc. Sales data can also be obtained in the context of different categories of goods. It is also possible to sort data by order status.
All information can be downloaded in CSV format.
The last tab “Categorization of sales” provides summary information on sales in the context of product categories.
It displays information about the number of units sold from a certain category in the catalog, as well as the total sales by category and total. As in the previous tab, it is possible to display data for a selected period using a filter.
Sales data can be obtained for each individual category by selecting it in the filter list.
Sales statistics by manufacturers (brands) can be obtained using a specially designed filter.
To download statistics from this section in CSV format, click on the "Export" button.
How is the tool useful?
Thanks to the ability to get detailed statistics of sales, you can track the success of the store, as well as more thoughtfully plan a further development strategy. In addition, this functionality greatly simplifies the maintenance of accounting documentation, which will be able to evaluate stores with a large assortment of goods.
