Contact Sync - customer synchronization with Google Contacts

Nova ContactSync is a module for OkayCMS that automates the transfer of customer contact details from orders to Google Contacts. Contacts can be added manually from the order page or synchronized automatically on a schedule through the standard Okay Scheduler.

The module stores synchronization history in its own database, prevents repeated contact creation, and displays the current status of each operation.

Contact field settings

The module allows the administrator to select which order data should be transferred to Google Contacts and configure its order and destination field.

Supported data includes:

• customer first and last name;
• phone number;
• email address;
• order number and date;
• order status name;
• customer address;
• order total;
• customer comment;
• administrator note;
• product list.

The contact name can be generated using a custom template with variables. For example:

Google OAuth connection

The module uses a separate Google OAuth client. The admin panel includes a built-in step-by-step setup guide for:

• Google Auth Platform;
• Google People API;
• OAuth Client ID;
• OAuth Client Secret;
• Authorized Redirect URI;
• the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts scope.

Active AJAX counters at the top of the page display:

• orders in the registry;
• successfully synchronized contacts;
• synchronization errors;
• operations currently being processed.

Supported services

Version 1.0.0 provides full Google Contacts synchronization. The module architecture allows additional providers to be added in future versions.
