Similar Products (Color, Category, Name)

Similar Products (Color, Category, Name) is an OkayCMS module that automatically displays additional product blocks on the product page with relevant items from the same category. The module helps customers find similar or recommended products faster, improves catalog navigation, and can increase page depth and product discovery.

The module supports three separate frontend blocks: products similar by color, products with similar names, and random recommended products. Each block can be enabled or disabled separately, configured with its own title, product limit, and display order.

Color-based matching works not only through the product name, but also through a selected product property. The administrator can choose which property is responsible for color, so the module is not tied to any specific feature name. Multilingual color name matching is also supported.

To reduce server load, the module includes frontend caching. Product blocks are generated when the product page is opened for the first time, then the result is saved to cache and reused on subsequent views. The admin panel allows clearing the cache, setting its lifetime, and disabling caching if needed.
