Staggered descriptions

Descriptions in a Chessboard Layout — a module for OkayCMS that allows you to create extended descriptions with alternating images and text.

One block displays the image on the left and the text on the right, while the next block reverses their positions. This layout makes pages more attractive, structured, and similar to modern landing pages.

Module configuration

After installing the module, the administrator can select the page types for which chessboard-style descriptions will be available:

• products;
• categories;
• brands;
• blog posts;
• information pages.

To enable the functionality, open “Modules → My Modules”, select the module, activate the required page types, and save the changes.

Adding a description

To add a description, select the required group: products, categories, brands, blog posts, or pages. Then open the settings of the selected group, choose the required item, and add the description blocks.

An image and text can be added to each block. The created blocks will be displayed sequentially in a chessboard layout on the corresponding storefront page.

Storefront display

After saving, the description will appear on the corresponding page. The first block displays the image and text in one order, while the next block reverses their positions.

This format helps divide large amounts of information into clear visual sections and present the benefits of a product, category, brand, or company attractively.
